Pupils in Class 9 at St Joseph's Catholic Academy in Norton recently took part in a thoughtful class celebration centred on the Parable of the Good Samaritan.

The session encouraged children to reflect on what it means to show love, kindness and compassion to others in their daily lives.

Leading a Meaningful Celebration

Class 9 led the celebration beautifully, sharing their reflections on the story and discussing the important lessons it teaches about caring for others.

Through thoughtful discussion, pupils explored how the Good Samaritan's actions continue to inspire people to help those in need and treat others with respect.

Linking Faith to Everyday Life

The children also connected their learning to the school's Creation and Covenant topic and the Ten Commandments.

Together, they considered practical ways they can help their neighbours and demonstrate kindness, compassion and respect within their school and wider community.

Thoughtful Reflections from Class 9

Staff were incredibly impressed by the maturity and insight shown throughout the session.

The celebration provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to deepen their understanding of faith while reflecting on how they can put Gospel values into action each day.
