Class 7 at St Joseph's Catholic Academy in Norton celebrated World Mental Health Day by focusing on the power of kindness and the positive impact it can have on others.
The pupils took part in a thoughtful activity designed to promote wellbeing and strengthen the sense of community within their classroom.
Spreading Positivity Through Kind Words
Children wrote anonymous messages for one another, sharing encouraging words and positive comments to brighten their classmates' day.
The activity highlighted the importance of looking after mental wellbeing and demonstrated how simple acts of kindness can help others feel valued and supported.
Living Out Catholic Social Teaching
The project reflected the Catholic Social Teaching principle of Human Dignity, which reminds us that every person is unique, valued and loved by God.
Through their messages, pupils showed respect, compassion and appreciation for one another, helping to create a caring and inclusive environment.
Building a Supportive Community
Staff were proud of the thoughtfulness and empathy shown by the children throughout the activity.
By taking time to encourage and support their peers, Class 7 demonstrated how small actions can make a meaningful difference and help build a strong, supportive school community.
