Exploring the Coast and Local Surroundings

Pupils in Classes 3 and 4 from St Joseph’s Catholic Academy enjoyed a wonderful trip to Saltburn beach.

The day included a scenic walk through the gardens, time playing in the park and the opportunity to enjoy lunch together on the beach.

Learning Through Adventure

As part of the visit, the children completed a scavenger hunt, encouraging them to explore their surroundings and work together to solve challenges.

The pupils also enjoyed a special treat with an ice cream, adding to the excitement of a fun-filled day by the coast.

Living Out School Values

Throughout the trip, the children were excellent ambassadors for St Joseph’s Catholic Academy, demonstrating the school’s virtues through their behaviour, kindness and respect.

The visit also provided an opportunity to put Catholic Social Teaching into action, particularly through caring for God’s creation and working together as a community.

Staff were incredibly proud of the pupils, who represented the school brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed a memorable day of learning and fun.
