An Afternoon of Fun and Friendly Competition
Reception pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day filled with excitement, determination and plenty of smiles.
The children demonstrated excellent resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship as they took part in a range of fun sporting activities throughout the afternoon.
A Variety of Exciting Events
Pupils competed enthusiastically in a number of events, including the egg and spoon race, water race, javelin challenge, running race and the ever-popular bean bag balanced on your head race.
Each child gave their very best effort, supporting their teammates and embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and confidence.
Celebrating the Winners
Congratulations to St Bede House, the Green Team, who were crowned this year's Sports Day champions.
The afternoon finished with the always-popular adults' race, providing lots of entertainment for children and families, followed by a well-deserved ice pop for everyone to enjoy and cool down.
