A Sensory Start to a New Story
Class 5 at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton have had a brilliant start to their new English text, Cloud Tea Monkeys. Before opening the book, the children stepped into the shoes of real tea tasters!
Exploring Aromas and Flavours
Pupils explored a selection of different teas, taking time to smell each one carefully and describe the aromas. They used their senses to predict the flavours and shared some fantastic vocabulary and ideas. The classroom was filled with curiosity and thoughtful discussion.
