Our Reception children at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton had a magical and creative Wild Classroom day this week. Using paint and chalk, the children explored the planets as part of their exciting topic on space.
This hands‑on learning tied beautifully into their class liturgies, where they reflected on new beginnings and how God created the world. Through this, the children are developing a deep sense of awe and wonder at God’s creation, living out the Catholic Social Teaching principle of Stewardship of Creation.
It was a lovely example of creativity, faith, and learning coming together in a meaningful and memorable way.
