Our Year 6 pupils recently took part in a valuable transition workshop led by Alliance, helping them prepare for the exciting next step in their educational journey.
Talking About New Beginnings
During the session, pupils explored what to expect at secondary school, discussing new experiences, routines and opportunities. It was a great chance for children to ask questions and share their thoughts.
Building Confidence and Resilience
The workshop also focused on developing coping strategies, helping pupils manage any worries they may have about moving on. Through discussion and support, children were encouraged to feel confident and positive about the future.
Ready to Shine
While this is a big and sometimes daunting transition, we know our Year 6 pupils are well prepared and ready to shine in their new schools in September.
