Hands‑On Science Learning
We were thrilled to welcome Neil from Big Science into St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton for an exciting and interactive assembly. The session brought science to life, giving pupils the opportunity to explore fascinating ideas linked directly to their National Curriculum learning.
Curiosity, Investigation and Discovery
During the assembly, children enthusiastically predicted outcomes, took part in experiments, and asked thoughtful questions. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity, laughter and awe as pupils explored scientific concepts in a fun and memorable way.
The assembly also beautifully reflected Catholic Social Teaching, highlighting how science encourages stewardship, responsibility and care for creation. Pupils were reminded of the important role they play in looking after the world around them.
A huge thank you to Neil from Big Science for inspiring our young scientists and sparking such enthusiasm across the school.
