Living Out Catholic Social Teaching
Class 10 at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton have been working on an inspiring social action project during their PE sessions. Their task: to create and deliver a special “fixture” designed to bring kindness into the local community.
Kindness Stones for the Community
The children planned and decorated beautiful kindness stones, each one painted with positive messages and bright designs. This evening, they are placing these stones around the local area, hoping to make someone smile and remind everyone that they are valued and unique.
If you spot a kindness stone, the children would love you to share a photo!
Supported by Hartlepool Football Club
A huge thank you goes to the coaches from Hartlepool Football Club for leading and supporting this thoughtful project. Their encouragement helped the children turn their creative ideas into something that will brighten the wider community.
Celebrating Human Dignity
This project beautifully reflects the Catholic Social Teaching principle of the Dignity of the Human Person - the belief that every person is special, loved by God and capable of making a positive difference.
Well done, Class 10, for showing how small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
