A Lovely Visit to Our Local Library
Class 5 from St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton enjoyed a wonderful trip to their local library, where they spent the morning exploring stories from a range of cultures, experiences and perspectives.
Celebrating Diversity Through Books
The visit offered a brilliant chance for the children to discover how stories help us understand one another better. From folktales to modern picture books, they explored a rich collection that opened conversations about identity, kindness and community.
Sharing, Supporting and Enjoying Books Together
It was heart‑warming to see the children recommending titles to one another, sharing what they loved and supporting their classmates as they chose new books. Their joy in reading side by side made the visit truly special.
A Big Thank You to Our Library Team
Class 5 would like to thank the library staff for their warm welcome and brilliant support. The trip was a beautiful example of the children living out the message of being “brothers and sisters all.”
