A Stellar Afternoon With Our Families
This week at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton, we were delighted to welcome our Reception families for a very special Space‑Themed Stay and Play - and what an out‑of‑this‑world afternoon it was!
Grown‑ups joined their children in exploring hands‑on, imaginative activities linked to the class’s current space topic.
Space Adventures and Creative Exploration
Children and adults had a wonderful time taking part in a wide range of space‑inspired challenges, including:
- Building marshmallow and spaghetti constellations
- Designing name rockets
- Catching sparkly stars from water trays
- Throwing soft meteors into targets
- And many more cosmic activities!
Laughter, learning, and creativity filled every corner of the classroom.
