St Joseph’s Catholic Academy, Norton opened on 1st February 2019 when it converted to Academy status and joined Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust.
As St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Norton it was previously inspected by:
- Ofsted (Section 5) in February 2016 and was judged to be a good school
- The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle (Section 48) in June 2016 and was judged to be outstanding
