Recognising Outstanding Sporting Achievement
St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton is celebrating the success of several pupils who were recognised at the Stockton School Sports Partnership Awards.
The awards highlighted the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm shown by pupils both in PE lessons and through wider sporting opportunities.
Celebrating Talented Sports Leaders
One pupil was recognised as an exceptional Sports Leader, consistently demonstrating care, kindness and a passion for sport while supporting others.
Another pupil received recognition for their talent and dedication, which have shone throughout their time at St Joseph’s and made a positive impact on school sport.
A huge congratulations also goes to a third pupil who achieved the prestigious Sports Leader of the Year award in recognition of their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm towards PE and sport.
Active 60 School of the Year
The academy is also delighted to announce that St Joseph’s has been named Active 60 School of the Year for the second consecutive year.
This fantastic achievement reflects the school's commitment to promoting physical activity and encouraging pupils to lead healthy, active lifestyles.
The school would like to thank everyone who supported the application process by providing quotes and sharing their experiences.
