Our Year 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed an exciting and educational day out at Beamish Museum, bringing history to life.

A Hands‑On History Experience

During the visit, pupils took part in an evacuee workshop on the farm, where they learned how to black out windows and wrote letters home, imagining life during wartime.

Exploring the Past

The children explored the different areas of Beamish, discovering what life was like in Victorian Britain and gaining valuable insights into how people lived and worked in the past.

Proud Representation

Throughout the day, pupils represented the school brilliantly with their enthusiasm and behaviour — and certainly got plenty of steps in too!

A fantastic day of learning, discovery and unforgettable experiences. Well done, everyone!
