Our Reception children have had a fantastic time exploring and making full use of our outdoor provision, enjoying a week packed with creativity, collaboration and hands‑on learning.

Imaginative Play Comes to Life

The mud kitchen and play resources were buzzing with excitement as children created all sorts of imaginative treats - from pancakes and hot chocolate in the mud kitchen to sausage rolls and blueberry pancakes made with playdough. Their creativity and storytelling skills were a joy to see.

Building, Problem‑Solving and Teamwork

Alongside imaginative play, children were busy engaging in construction activities, working together to plan, problem‑solve and build with real purpose. These experiences helped develop communication skills, confidence and resilience.

Learning Outdoors With Confidence

It has been wonderful to watch ideas come to life and to see children’s confidence grow as they play, explore and learn outdoors.

Well done, Reception - what a brilliant week of joyful, hands‑on learning!
