Our school year is made up of liturgical seasons: opportunities for us to reflect, and prepare ourselves in readiness to rejoice for something wonderful. We would like to share some of our beautiful reflections with you, and hope that you can find a few moments to absorb the important messages within them.
During lockdown, we have found new ways to pray collectively, but we have missed being able to join in prayer with our parishioners. We are delighted that our pupil chaplains are sharing weekly Lenten reflections with our school and parish families as part of our ongoing outreach work.

It has always been a Lenten tradition at St. Joseph’s, to take our children into Church to walk the fourteen stations of the Way of the Cross. As this is not possible in today’s challenging times, we have displayed the fourteen stations on the school railings, on Ragworth Road, for all to see.
Our 2020 Christmas performances were recorded for you to share at home through our private YouTube channel. Nursery and Reception have told the Nativity through actions and singing. KS1 and KS2 have taken part in a beautiful liturgy using liturgical dance and God’s Holy Word. We sent a link via MyEd with a link to our channel.
